Around The Magic Roundabout

What’s intimidating, round with traffic flowing in both the clockwise and anti-clockwise directions and was voted the fourth scariest junction in Britain?
The Magic Roundabout in Swindon, England consists of five mini-roundabouts arranged in a circle. It derived its name from a popular children’s television show called “The Magic Roundabout” and it inspired the catchy pop song “English Roundabout” by XTC. Constructed in 1972, this historic junction was voted the worst roundabout in 2005, one of the world’s worst junctions and one of the 10 scariest junctions in the United Kingdom in 2007. Despite this however, the roundabout is considered one of the seven urban wonders of the world as far as city roads and streets go.
