Here at last, the 2010 World Cup finals! Excited? You should be. No doubt Clive Tyldesley will have something suitably grandiose to say about it before kick-off ... something about a global audience waiting with anticipation and a nation's chance to shine ... enough of that Clive, just look at the pretty pictures. Organizers and producers incorporated traditional African themes into the opening ceremonies, and various artists such as pop stars Shakira and Alicia Keys performed in the kick-off concert. Various foreign dignitaries are attending the most watched sporting event of the year including Mexican President Felipe Calderon and U.S. Vice President Joe Biden. FIFA's head honcho Sepp Blatter and South Africa's president Jacob Zuma are all smiles before kick off. It’s kind of like a uniting of the whole world you know; bringing everyone together for a good cause.
